Procedure Writing 
  1. •Number the steps ---
  2. •Make sure procedure is in correct order
  3. •Use specific command verb to explain action such as: turn, mix, stir, put, measure
  4. •Use linking words that have to do with time (first,next, then, finally, eventually, etc.)
  5. •Use precise Science vocabulary for equipment and measurements(ie: beaker, test tube, mass, volume, Celsius, grams, liters, triple beam balance)  use it for each step!!!
  6. •Be sure to add when to repeat steps such as # of trials.
  7. •Add a labeled diagram if it will help with set up.​
  8. •DO NOT USE words like : we, he, she, it , I .
